Dr. M.C. Trappenburg

Mevrouw Trappenburg is sinds december 2013 werkzaam in Ziekenhuis Amstelland. Vanaf de start van het Behandeladvies Centrum Ouderengeneeskunde: “Het mooie van werken in de ouderengeneeskunde vind ik dat je de patient op alle verschillende domeinen van functioneren in kaart brengt, om daarna te kijken hoe je het beste het behoud en mogelijk herstel van functioneren kan bereiken. Ik ga in de spreekkamer graag met patient en mantelzorgers in gesprek om te bepalen welke medische behandelingen en onderzoeken we starten en welke we juist laten”. De afdeling interne ouderengeneeskunde heeft een hecht team en er is nauwe samenwerking met de afdeling neurologie en afdeling psychiatrie van GGZinGeest. Er is van oudsher een nauwe samenwerking met het AmsterdamUMC.
